Walk with Christ

This is the process of initiating adults and older children into the Catholic Christian Community. Our program of RCIA is more than just a class room. It is a journey into the Faith, into a personal relationship with God. We provide the spiritual tools and guidance to introduce those wishing to enter the Catholic Church Community and nourish the desire to grow in understanding Faith in Jesus Christ through prayer and scripture. The journey starts with the introduction of the "Good News", the Sacred Scripture and along with the faithful of the parish, the inquirers learn to understand and discuss God's Word. Prayer is a strong part of our experience as we develop relationships with each other and all who participate grow in faith and understanding the Church and the Love of God.
Beyond the introduction is a deeper understanding of discipleship as the journey travels through learning about the sacraments and the experiences of Advent, Lent and Holy week. Inquirers learn about Liturgy, about the Mass, about ministering and ultimately the realization and joy of conversion.
RCIA is not just for Non-Catholics. Our program is for unbaptized, already baptized Christians, and already baptized Catholics seeking Confirmation. We invite all of the faithful as RCIA is for the entire parish community. It is a wonderful way to grow the faith of the community as well as a continuation of conversion.
